a. Information You Provide
- Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, password, and profile details (such as a profile photo and bio).
- Booking Information. When you make or receive a Booking, we collect details about the reservation, including dates, times, location, number of guests, and any special requests or messages exchanged between Hosts and Guests.
- Payment Information. Payment card numbers and financial account information are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. PaceDream does not store your full payment card number on our servers. We may receive limited payment details from Stripe (e.g., card type, last four digits, billing address) to facilitate transactions and resolve disputes.
- Identity Verification. We may collect government-issued identification or other verification documents when required to comply with applicable laws or Platform policies.
- Communications. We collect information you provide when you contact us for support, submit feedback, respond to surveys, or communicate with other Users through the Platform.
- Listing Information. Hosts provide information about their spaces, including descriptions, photos, pricing, availability, rules, and location.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device and Browser Information. We collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, device identifiers, and language preferences.
- Usage Information. We collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, search queries, click patterns, and the date and time of your visits.
- Location Information. With your consent, we may collect precise geolocation data from your device. We also infer approximate location from your IP address.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on the Platform. See our Cookie Policy for details.
c. Information from Third Parties
- Social Login Providers. If you sign in using a third-party service (e.g., Google), we receive information authorized by that provider, such as your name, email, and profile picture.
- Payment Processor. Stripe may provide us with transaction status, payout details, and fraud-screening results.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform, including processing Bookings and facilitating payments.
- Create and manage your account and verify your identity.
- Communicate with you about Bookings, account activity, Platform updates, and customer support inquiries.
- Send promotional communications (you may opt out at any time; see Section 7).
- Personalize your experience, including search results and recommendations.
- Process payments and payouts through Stripe.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Analyze usage trends and improve the Platform’s features, functionality, and performance.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Between Hosts and Guests. When a Booking is made, we share relevant information between the Host and Guest (e.g., names, contact details, Booking details) to facilitate the reservation.
- Payment Processing (Stripe).We share payment and transaction information with Stripe, Inc. to process payments, payouts, and refunds. Stripe’s use of your data is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
- Media Storage (Cloudinary).Photos and media you upload to the Platform may be processed and stored by Cloudinary. Cloudinary’s use of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Real-Time Messaging (Ably).We use Ably to power real-time messaging features on the Platform. Ably’s use of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Service Providers. We may share information with other third-party vendors who assist with hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support, and other operational services, subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Legal Compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of PaceDream, our Users, or the public.
- Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We may also retain and use your information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When your personal information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it. Specifically:
- Account information is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 3 years after account closure to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Transaction and Booking records are retained for at least 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
- Communications and support records are retained for up to 3 years after the last interaction.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), secure storage, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. PaceDream honors the following rights for all Users:

- Correction. You may update or correct inaccurate personal information through your account settings or by contacting us.
- Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal retention requirements).
- Opt-Out of Marketing.You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us. You will continue to receive transactional and account-related communications.
- Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing.PaceDream does not sell your personal information. If we engage in targeted advertising that constitutes “sharing” under applicable law, you may opt out by contacting us.
- Data Portability. Where required by applicable law, you may request your personal information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

10. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. 11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country.
